About

I'm Hamit — an engineer based in San Francisco. I'm currently working at Harvey as a Senior Software Engineer.
My work sits at the intersection of frontend engineering and product design. I care deeply about the craft of building interfaces that feel considered and effortless to use.
This site is where I think out loud — code architecture, design systems, and broader reflections on building in public.
Work
Building legal AI used by the world's top law firms. The kind of software that makes brilliant people even more dangerous.
The first engineer at a vector database startup. Wore every hat in the closet.
Built financial tooling for Amazon FinTech, then shipped AI platform work on SageMaker. Lots of scale, lots of surface area.
Built a JS SDK for an enterprise AI platform. Made AI easier to plug in.
Early engineering hire (#3) at a telehealth startup that went public. Built the patient onboarding flows.
Agency life. Built healthcare and food delivery apps that reached real users.
